ADS114S06: ads114s06b current source

Part Number: ADS114S06

Hello,

I'm looking for further information about the current sources (IDACs). On datashhet's page 8, you say 100ppm/ºC for temperature drift (each IDAC).

This is the typical, minimum or maximun value? I do some tests and found something about 30 ppm/ºC.

Could you help me with this, or provide me more information, please?

Thanks and best regards,

  • Hi Marcelo,

Welcome to the E2E forum! Data in the center column of the Electrical Characteristics is typical. For the 'B' version of the ADS114S06, the drift specs are not guaranteed, so you will see some devices better than others. Also, the specification is for all possible IDAC current values, so depending on which output current you are using you may see some differences even between currents. You cannot rely on seeing a typical value of 30ppm.

If you need a tighter specification use the regular version of the ADS114S06 (without the B).

    Best regards,
    Bob B
