Hello,
I am setting up my ADC14X250EVM to TSW14J56EVM test setup as explained in Figure 2 of slau625, user manual for ADC14x250.
However, my clock is 70MHz and my signal is 5MHz (provides for a cheaper setup for initial testing).
I have successfully captured data from HSDC pro as shown in the manual while setting the ADC output data rate set from 250MHz to 76MHz (lane rates of 5G - 1.52G). Since my clock is 70MHz, the frequency readings in FFT is not correct. The ADC output data rate and fft frequency are circled in figure (a). I understand that this is because the ADC output data rate that I set in HSDC pro does not match real ADC's sampling rate. But when I decrease the ADC output data rate to 70MHz (or any rate below 76MHz), I get the error message shown in figure b.

Few other observations:
1. D4 blinks when I capture the sample at any frequencies > 76MHz, but there is no error or warning. When error occurs at <76MHz, none of the LEDs blink.
2. I can capture a frame at higher frequency and then can lower the ADC output data rate, the frequency of the capture then tends to match with original signal, but this takes away my ability of continuous sampling, and I dont know the accuracy of this process.
