I am working on a low cost UWB system and plan on using a zero-IF scheme. I am working with a 1GHz bandwidth signal, so I need an ADC with that much bandwidth (sampling rate is not really that important as its a periodic signal, so I can just measure over several periods). This IC is by far the cheapest that fulfills my requirements; however, I am reluctant to use it since it seems to only be available at Rochester (and seems kind of discontinued, even though its branded as "Active"). Any chance another batch of this will be produces? Or does anyone know of a very cheap replacement? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
