Dear Team,

On the High speed data converter pro software - on the DAC tab

Can you please explain what is the freq resolution ?

For example : for Data rate of 768MSPS and 65536 samples what is the minimum freq resolution the software can generate ?

Can you please elaborate a bit on how is it determined ?

Hi Nir,

The frequency resolution of the data pattern generated is simply the Fdata_rate/number of sample points. This is equivalent to the bin size of the FFT (basically the smallest bin the FFT can resolve/generate).

There are a couple of websites that describe this process. The same process actually works in the ADC capture size (you may not the "resolution" note) on the ADC capture.
