Hi,

While running my DAC38J84 EVM GUI, i am getting error like "FTDI Device not connected properly, FT_DEVICE NOT FOUND, The FTDI device was not found".

Can anybody please help me out?

    Swarup,

    Can you see the USB port under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers' when using Device Manager? If so, you may have to uninstall the FTDI drivers on your machine and re-install them.  Have you tried other USB ports or another computer? If this is still an issue, the FTDI may have had the programmed enumeration erased. Try the following attached procedure using the FTDI software you can download from the web, to reprogram this device with the template file also attached. If you still have problems, let me know and we can arrange for you to ship us this board to allow us to do this or arrange for a replacement.
