My customer failed to bring up the ADS8881 EVM GUI with the following error message. Would you pls provide tips to solve it?

    my operating system is win7. The PHI can work with other TI ADC EVM . ADS8881 EVM SW is ver. 1.4.1

    Hello Wayne,

    Based upon your screenshot, the PHI board driver and GUI software are correctly installed.

    There are a few possible reasons why this is not working.

    1. Is the correct EVM board connected to the PHI board? Can you confirm the markings on the target board with the ADS8881 device?
    2. It is possible the EEPROM is corrupted on the target board, is jumper JP4 open?
    3. The ID_PWR is not reaching the EEPROM due to damage on one of the two boards. Can you measure ID_PWR (pin 8 of U9) and confirm 3.3V?

    Also, can you verify that the PHI board still works with a different EVM board?
