TSW1405EVM: documentation of the TSW 3085 EVM and the TSW 1266 EVM

Part Number: TSW1405EVM

Hello

I am in need of more detailed documentation on the TSW 3085 EVM and the TSW 1266 EVM.

I was able to send and receive an example signal based on the documentation from the TI website, but I still have some doubts.

The signal seems to be the same, but it appears that it does not receive the bits of the TX signal continuously.

When I send a signal other than the one in the example, it arrives with the same bandwidth on the Rx, but with many differences in the time domain they are larger compared to when I send a signal from the example.

I would like to know what the maximum power I can put in the LO to improve my SNR.

For this, I need to understand how the TSW308x and TSW1266 GUI options work.

  • User,

Consult the TRF3705 and LTC5585 data sheets regarding your LO input power question. As far as the GUI goes, the only documentation we can provide is from the TSW1266EVM User's Guide and the TSW3085EVM User's Guide, which can both be found on the TI website.

    Regards,

    Jim
