TLV5629: Reference Input Bandwidth

Part Number: TLV5629
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV5608, , TLV5610

Hi Team,

I have a customer who is interested in the TLV5629  / TLV5608 / TLV5610. The customer wants to modulate the reference voltage in his appliaction. However, the datasheet only specifies the bandwidth of the Reference Input at a 0.4Vpp signal (2.2MHz). Do we have any information about how the device would perform with a 5Vpp signal? Would you expect any distortion on the reference voltage because of slew rate limitations or bandwidth for a 5Vpp signal?

Thanks and Regards,

Mihir

  • Hi Mihir,

Thank you for your query. The datasheet has the data for 2Vpp as well. It seems the bandwidth reduces with amplitude. I suspect that 5Vpp response might degrade due to close proximity to AVDD and GND. However, we don't have any data with this test condition.

I would suggest using upto 4.096Vpp as that is a recommended DC operating condition. However, I don't have any data to support this.
