DAC084S085: Offset error

Part Number: DAC084S085

Hi,

Please allow to ask about offset error for DAC084S085. The customer would like to calculate TUE but there is no information about offset error in datasheet.

Best Regards,

Satoshi / Japan Disty

  • Hi Satoshi-san,

Thank you for your query. Let me check this with the internal team and get back by tomorrow.

  • Satoshi-san,

In this particular case I would infer that zero code error is being aliased as offset error. My reasoning for that is based on the top-line conditions of the datasheet, inserted below:

The input code range being limited to this span for an 8-bit converter keeps the device away from the non-linear regions of operation near the supply rails, therefore this specification would be in the linear region of operation and aligned with the conditions for an offset error specification.
