AMC1106M05: What is the Data format from DOUT?

Part Number: AMC1106M05

I try to use AMC1106M05 in my design. I read though the datasheet. But I still do not know what is format of data? How do I know the start of a data, or end? How many bits of the data from DOUT? 

If any info, will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi John,

    Welcome to our e2e Forum! There is no 'format' perse to the output data of the AMC1106, it's a bit-stream output as described in section 8.1 and 8.3.4 of the datasheet. The one's density increases as you approach full scale positive input and decreases as you approach full scale negative. These devices need usually employ a digital filter to resolve the input signal. Take a look at this app note for more detail: www.ti.com/.../sbaa094.pdf
