TLA2021: Resister setting of changing Continuous-conversion mode

Part Number: TLA2021

Dear all,

Would you mind if ask for TLA2021?

Out customer would like to know about resister setting of changing Continuous-conversion mode.

Please answer questions below.

If I change setting of Configuration Register (RP = 01h) in order to change "Continuous-conversion mode" of Operating Mode, do I need to write a 1 to the OS bit (bit 15 of Configuration Register) ?

It would be great if you could let me know your thoughts on the following the question.

Best regards,

Yu Ohta

  • Ohta-san,

My understanding of this device is that the OS bit (bit 15 of the Configuration register) is only affected by a write when the device is in single-shot conversion mode to start a conversion.

When the device set to continuous conversion mode (MODE bit set to 0), the device is on. You do not need to write a 1 to the OS bit.
