DAC8532: DAC8532 without moisture barrier bag

Hi TI Experts,

We received the DAC8532 shipped without moisture barrier bag.

As the part is rated MSL Level 2, it is ok to ship it without using the moisture barrier bag? 

Please advice.

    Hi Teach Me,

    I believe MSL level 2 allows the device to be out of moisture control for a year before being mounted. I am not sure why these devices were shipped without one or if it is standard to ship small volumes with out a bag or card. I suggest you contact the distributor directly for clarification of there shipping procedure.
