Hello,

in the datasheet for ADC344x pg. 46, 9.3.1 Analog Inputs section it says that

*Each input pin (INP, INM) must swing symmetrically between (VCM + 0.5 V) and (VCM – 0.5 V), resulting in a 2-VPP (default) differential input swing.*

(emphasis mine)

I understand this as "the integral of the signal (minus the VCM baseline) over a long time must be more or less equal to 0". Since that would rule out DC signals (which are explicitly said to be supported as per this answer) I am assuming that my understanding of that is wrong. Can you explain to me what this means?

I'm trying to digitize integrated charge from a SiPM, so the signal form is of course dependent on the light level.
