Referring to the attached file which shows an LVPCL Driver and receiver with 100 ohm differential termination: Is the VI(DPP) the peak to peak at one of the clk input pins and not the pk to pk across the differential pair?

Hi David,

VI(DPP) is measured across the differential pair. The peak to peak voltage spec at one of the clk input pins is 400mV

I still need clarification. Is VI (DPP) measured at the driver side or at the 100 ohm resistor side?
The table shows the differential input peak-to-peak voltage as being 800mV typical. You mention 400mV - is that the PEAK Voltage or the PEAK-TO-PEAK voltage?

Hi David,

The spec is 800mVpp differential which is the same as 400mVpp per each complementary input.
The clock input spec is measured at the pin of the device. The device requires 800mVpp differential at the clock pin.
