TSW14J10EVM: ADS42JB69 to TSW14J10 to HSDC Pro

Hello,

I am using the ADS42JB69 to digitize data from an emulator. I have configured the ADC and connected it to the TSW14J10 and then to a KC705 FPGA. When I launch HSDC Pro it reads the TSW correctly but it does not read the correct FPGA. The only option to select is FT2028YX-TSW14J10ZC706 instead of KC705. Another person had the same issue but they just got a new TSW14J10 and it worked. Is there another solution to this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Elijah,

Is your TSW14J10EVM a Rev C board? Make sure the board jumpers are set as follows:

JP2-JP5 pins 1-2

JP6 pins 2-3

Make sure the ribbon cable is connected between the JTAG connectors on the TSW14J10 and the KC705.

Jim,

It is a Rev D board and all the pins are set correctly. It seems that the ribbon cable you are referring to was not included in the initial TSW14J10EVM package. Reading through the manual again it should've been there so I'll have to get that then get back to you. Thanks,
