DAC7625: Is there another DAC in this family of DAC7625 where the Voltage reference is higher than VREFH of +2.5V.

Hi Uttam,

The DAC7724 seem to have a supply voltage of +/-15V or single 15V supplies. What if my requirement only allow me to have +5V single supply and I need my voltage output to be from 0V to 4.5V? Is there such a DAC that can do the job? I have been looking and it seem like if I want more than 2.5V output then I need to have a higher voltage supply. Is this true?

Hi Ken,

if you are not looking particularly for a solution within this DAC family, you can look at DAC80504. Although the internal reference is 2.5V, the gain setting will make the output up to 5V.

I think we might run into latency problem if we use a SPI data interface. The parallel will give us quick data to do a quick response. Do you know of any DAC that is Parallel? It doesn't have to be quad output package.

Hi Ken,

You can consider the devices in our portfolio that have a parallel interface:

There are few other choices you can make regarding the number of channels and resolution. I have filtered to the buffered voltage output devices as well. Some of these are 5V output as well.
