DAC38RF80: JTAG connection

Hi TI,

I want to use JTAG of DAC38RF80 for Eye Scan Testing , but don't have space for FT2232 on board.

DAC38RF80 is communicating to virtex-7, which in on different board, through FMC connector.

Can I connect JTAG pins of DAC38RF80 to virtex-7 FPGA ?

Hi Lalit,

The only limitation is if you like to take advantage of the software already available to do the EYESCAN, then you have to use the FTDI USB chip. The software is built in Labview and uses FTDI drivers to implement the JTAG read and write instructions for EYESCAN.
