ADS54J69: L parameters with some lanes NC

Part Number: ADS54J69

According to a previous post we can leave NC unused lanes of the ADS54J69.

Thus in the FPGA should we use the same L paramer

for instance for 5Gbps config the ADC uses L=4. Should we use L=4 or should we use L=2?

The L parameter needs to be the same on both ends of the link. So yes, the FPGA would need to be set L = 4 if the ADC is also using L = 4.

Just to be ablsolutely sure

We may leave unconnected the lanes which do not transport data i.e.

for the 5Gbps config, DA[2]_P/M, DA[3]_P/M, DB[2]_P/M, DB[3]_P/M?

Yes, you can leave the unused outputs floating.
