ADS1282: how to choose the supply vlotage and reference voltage of unipolar supply mode?

hi,

   I am trying to design my new evaluation board with ADS1282, its main function is to convert analog output voltage of a magnatic sensor, which is ±3V (balanced differential, each output 0.15V to 3.15V, 1.65V zero-field).So how to choose the voltage of AVDD、AVSS、VREFP、VREFN？

  I think it should be: AVDD = 5V, AVSS = 0V, VREFP = 3V, VREFN = 0V. It is right?

    Hi,

    Welcome to the TI E2E Forums!

    The ADS1282 is not the best choice for measuring differential voltages greater than 2.5V. With a 5V reference source, the ADS1282 can measure signals up to +/- 2.5V. For measuring larger input signals you'd either need to divide down the input signal or consider an ADC with a wider input range, such as the ADS1261.

    To configure the ADS1282 with your sensor, you'd could divide down the input signal (to 2.5V or less) and provide a 5V reference voltage (VREFP = 5V, assuming a unipolar supply). Typically, a REF5050 or REF6250 (or any REF6x50) is what we generally recommend using for the reference.
