DAC900: Questions about PD mode

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about DAC900 in PD mode.
1) What is the output impedance on Iout when the device is in power down mode (PD pulls to high)?
2) Is the CLK input available to run the latches and switch decoder logic when the device is in power down mode (PD pulls to high)?

Shinya,

This is a very old BB device and anyone whoever worked on it is long gone. I am afraid the only information we can provide is what is in the data sheet. I looked through it and could not find anything that might help you. If you want, I can give you an EVM if that would help you.

Does that mean that there is no way to access the design database any more?

Shinya,

Not sure. This may take some effort but our bandwidth and manpower is very limited right now. How critical is this? Who is the customer? What is the application? What kind of future revenue can we expect from this customer? All of these questions will help us determine how much priority this gets.

Shinya,

In power down mode, the impedance will go up as no current will be flowing through the output. The clocks will not be available as the clock circuitry will be shut down as this is the major power saving when the clocks are off.
