AMC1303E2520: Muxing multichannel voltage sensing ADC signals into F28379 sigma-delta filter, using AMC1303 ADC chip

Part Number: AMC1303E2520
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1210

Hi,

I am trying to measure 12 voltages and do some calculations and generate 12 PWM signals accordingly.

I need to measure at >150kHz speed, previously I was using AMC1211, and feed the analog outputs to the ADC pins of a C2000 control card, but AMC1211 has a significant phase shift when the frequency is >100kHz.

Therefore, I am planning to use AMC1303, and feed the Manchester coded signals to the sigma-delta filter SD2 pin inside the F28379. However, since I need to measure 12 voltages, and there are only 4 channels for SD2 in F28379, I need to mux the 12 AMC1303's output signals, planning to use CD74HCT4051M96 as the multiplexer.

I would like to get some advice on this solution, is it do-able? Would the Sigma-Delta filter built in the F28379 be able to handle 12 mux'ed Manchester bitstreams?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Victor
