Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC3161
We planned on using the DAC3161 and purchased the DAC3161 EVM to test out the part. After following the instructions shown in www.ti.com/.../sluuan8.pdf, we were able to connect to the EVM. We are using a 500MHz 16dBm sinewave at J9. We are not able to read any registers values from the DAC though we do see CDC620005 Register values ( we do send the data first through the gui) . Shouldn't this be possible? See the attached screen shots
