Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04828, , LMX2582, ADC32RF45
Hello. I have two ADC32RF45EVM boards - both have exhibited the same behavior. I've been direct programing via Python as I've had issues with the GUI. I'm targeting a ZCU102 FPGA board, previously a ZC706. My signal generator, using a splitter, at 14dBm does not seem to be enough power to drive the ADC and LMK parts, so, I've tried to use the LMX part. On both boards, when I program the LMX2582, when I write to address 0, the 3.3 volt supply dips, resetting the LMK04828.
Here, the red trace is the chip select to LMX2582 during the write to 0x00, and purple is the output of J13 from the LMK04828 part.
The only way I"ve gotten it to work is the use the jumper on LMX CE whilst programming, and then to take it off afterwards, with mixed success. I've used TICS without an eval board for the LMX2582, to generate the registers, as well as the eval software for the ADC32RF45., as well as my own interpretations of the register map. All with the same sucess/failure, on both boards. TIA.
