Hi

 

Could you kindly advise on placing GND as following.

 

-        Is it OK to place analog GND and digital GND separately and connected them at one point in control board side not PD board side.

-        Are there any guideline to place GND plane ?

    Hello Tanii-san,

    Yes, placing the analog and digital grounds separately and connecting them with a 0Ohm resistor is fine.

    We do not have any specific collateral covering GND plane recommendations as it is a very complex subject and best practices change from system to system. I recommend viewing a few EVM boards layout pictures in the User's Guides for example implementations.
