Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS570LS1227
The objective: Configure ADS7952 to operate in Auto-2 mode, to read the temperature from 12 channels. The microcontroller used in this project is a TMS570LS1227.
Tried the following:
Sent configuration commands (as mentioned in the ADS7952 datasheet) to operate ADS7952 in Auto-2 mode. The ADS7952 starts conversion from CH0 and we configure the ADS7952 to stop at CH11 - the last channel. I've attached 1.5V to CH0 of ADS7952 - for debugging purposes. The data received back (after configuration) is 0x0200 and 0x0000 erratically - makes no sense.
Things I've checked:
Verified all ADC power pins are at 3.3V and VREF is at 2.5V.
If anyone has experience configuring an ADS7952, please guide me with what I should do to get reliable data from the ADS7952 as this is my first time working with an ADC as complicated as the 7952.
