ADS1292: One lead ecg better CMRR OPA2188 and ADS1292 .

Part Number: ADS1292

Hello ;

its the contiue of this thread

https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters/f/73/t/847712

i have tested the circuit and we noticed that when the elctrods is attached to simulator or body ; there  is a DC offset  is added to the ECG sigal   ( exponential dc offset )  , i think this DC is the electrodes DC ; but the problem that the input capacitor and the pullsup resistor  add a hug time constant  more than 40 sec to filter this DC .

I am looking for a solution ;  a IIR DC filter can be applied but this filter need about 5 seconds to be settled .

any other suggestion please ?

Thank you in advanced

  • Hi Hector,

    What is the cut-off frequency of the high-pass filter? Outside of increasing that, I'm not sure what else to recommend. The electrode contact impedance could also be a factor, but this should be negligible when connected to the patient simulator.

    Best regards,
