DAC7568: What is the difference between the driver code of DAC7568, DAC8168 and DAC8568?

Hi Experts,

I find TSSOP16 package is pin to pin for DAC7568, DAC8168 and DAC8568, I want to switch form DAC7568 to DAC8568 or 8168.

Can you tell me if the software code is same for DAC7568, DAC8168 and DAC8568 or not?

What do I need to change in my software when switch from DAC7568 to DAC8168 or DAC8568?

Hi,

Thank you for your query. The difference between the DAC7568, DAC8168, and DAC8568 is the resolution. While writing software for them, please make sure the data bits are 16-bit aligned as shown in Table-1, 2, and 3 in the datasheet.

There is no other change required in software.
