Hi,

My customer is considering using ADS5484.

However the datasheet of ADS5485 says that "ADS5485 is Not Recommended for New Designs".

Does TI recommend using ADS5484?

As you saw, the ADS5485 is NRND but not the other part numbers in the ADS548x family. The ADS5484 can be used without issue. That said, you may want to consider an alternate device like the ADS42LB69 which is a dual, 16-bit, 250 MSPS ADC. It has similar SNR and SFDR performance with lower power consumption.
