AFE5807: Output current for SDOUT pin

Hi,

It seems there is no information in AFE5807 datasheet about output current (I_OH & I_OL) provided by the SDOUT pin. No info about the equivalent circuit for that pin too, so it is difficult to make assumptions about it. I need this info for selecting the right transistor to be used to change voltage levels to connect the SDOUT signal with a FPGA with LVCMOS2V5 voltage level input standard.

Hi,

When you look at the data sheet page11,

it mentions SDOUT =0 (for Vol)

and SDOUT=DVDD (for Voh) =1.8V (when spec is DVDD=1.8V)

Please set up your FPGA correctly.

That's correct, but I am asking for current, not voltage. Any insight about that? Thanks.

Yes, you are right.

the AFE5807 datasheet does not mention such detail of

the output current for SDOUT pin.

Hi,

Since your question is related to the you

connect the SDOUT signal with your FPGA with LVCMOS2V5 voltage level.

We suggest you can refer to AFE5809 datasheet's Page 49.

in your case: Level sifter SN74AUP1T04 can be used to convert 1.8V logic to 2.5V for your application.
