ADC10080: Vcom voltage variation and temp drift

Hi,

Our customer has the following questions. Does TI have any information?
1. Vcom variation at room temperature, histogram.
2. Vcom temperature drift
The datasheet says "not tested", please let me know if you have any data.

  • I'm sorry. This pin is an input PIN as far as I can see the data sheet.

    According to D/S,
    VCOM PIN
    This pin supplies a voltage for possible use to set the common mode input voltage. This pin may also be
    connected to VIN-, so that VIN+ may be used as a single ended input. This pin should be bypassed with at least a
    0.1 uF capacitor. Do not load this pin.
    Is Vcom = 1.45V output?
    Does TI have any information?

    Vcom depends on internal REF (80ppm), so I think it is more error, but is it correct?

  • Hi Hiroshi,

    We do not have any additional data plots / information on this device. As you have pointed out, with the internal 1.2V VREF, there is +/- 80 ppm/C. I believe that if a more stable external reference is used, the VOCM will, in turn, be more stable. However, I don't have the data to support this claim.
