ADS112C04EVM: How can I find I2C data and access a Conversion mode in EVM?

Part Number: ADS112C04EVM

I purchased a EVM and installed Delta-Sigma Evaluation S/W.

I loaded a predfined Measure Device Temperature  file and operated "Run" button for observing Data Analysis normal operating.

but  It seems that Data analysis Collecting is not operating. so I checked I2C data(SCL, SDA) using oscilloscope

I could not observe I2C command as attached file.

I2C data is only found at pushing RESET button in EVM.

How can I find I2C data and access a Continuous Conversion mode in EVM?

EVM jumper setting is default as User guide (figure2).

1) Is there a video file for How to use a Delta-sigma Software?

2) How can I confirm correct setting Software and EVM(jumper)

(I want to know ADC112C04 software and EVM simple setting for normal operating confirm)

3) How can I observe I2C data in scope and access a Continuous Conversion mode in EVM?

    (I can't find I2C data without pushing RESET(S4) )

  • Hi Jawoon,

Welcome to the E2E forum! It sounds like you are trying to load and run a script.  Can you send me the script file you are using for me to see what you are trying to do and also verify that the script has been written correctly?

The scripting feature is an advanced feature.  Are you able to capture data from the GUI as the GUI was intended?  For example, can you change the register settings and collect data from the data analysis engine?

Just to verify, have you loaded both the Delta-Sigma EvaluaTIon software and the application software (device package)?  There are two software installs required.  All information can be found on the tools page for the ADS112C04EVM:

  • Hi Jawoon,

Have you made any progress on verifying the data from the ADS112C04EVM?  Were you able to get the GUI to communicate with the EVM?

    Best regards,
