DAC7562: Optional circuit to create Bipolar output

Part Number: DAC7562
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA140

With reference to the data sheet of the Evaluation Board of DAC7562 Link: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sbau183a/sbau183a.pdf

Part No. U4, has not been listed (not installed) in the BOM list, which is a part of the Optional circuit to create the bipolar output, hence i wanted to know which OpAmp is to be used to create a bipolar output.

Please guide us on the same.

  • Hi Abhinav,

It was designed with OPA140 in mind. Having said that you can use any op amps from our amplifiers portfolio to suit your needs. Key care about will be noise, bias current , supply levels, bandwidth (if used for AC signal purpose) etc.

    Hope this clarifies.

    Regards,

    AK
