ADC10D1000QML-SP: Daisy Chain Package Pinout

Where can I find detailed information about the ADC10D1000DAISY package? In particular I need to know which pins are internally connected together.

Hi Matthias,

The detailed package information for the ADC10D1000QML is located in the datasheet on page 79.

In terms of what is being connected internally this would be a propriety request and cannot be given out unfortunately.

Thanks for the quick answer. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to point me to the necessary information: as far as I can tell, page 79 in the data sheet simply shows the mechanical details of the package (which of course is the same for both the functional chip as well as for the dummy package), but in order to use the daisy chain dummy package (for solder verification) this does not help. In order to make the proper PCB layout, i.e. to complete the daisy chain, it is necessary to know which pin pairs are internally connected, i.e. that information cannot be proprietary.

Hi Matthias,

Thank you for the feedback, I was unfamiliar with the Daisy Chain term. See the two documents attached.

Note: on the package drawing PDF.

The four circles are vias that connect the H/S to plating tie bars on the layer above. The tie bars go out to the side of the package and allow us to electrolytically plate the package.

Note that all the ground columns in the middle of the package attach to the heatsink.
