TLV5614: SPI circuit

Part Number: TLV5614

Hi team,

In customer current design, a 1K ohm resistor is connected in series on the SPI port. If another capacitor to ground is added, the signal quality will deteriorate,

So they remove the ground capacitance of SPI port.

I want to ask if this will affect the use of chip, can SPI port of tlv5614 not add to ground capacitor?

Best Regards,

Gene

  • Hi Gene,

Only the supply and reference pins benefit from a capacitor.  The SPI pins do not need them.  1kΩ in series is a bit high, but as long the timing specifications are not violated, the part will work fine.

    Thanks,

    Paul
