ADS54J20: How did i trigger the ADC sampling

Hi jim,

I asked you about ADC trigger sampling a long time ago,that you said i can send the pulse signal to both the ADC and the TRIG_IN SMA J13 on the tsw14j56evm ,but i have a question that the ADC input is the analog signal and the trigger of the tsw14j56evm is the digtal signal,so should i convert the analog to digtal before when i send it to the TRIG_IN?

Suy,

The trigger signal you are providing will have to meet the requirements of the buffer that is receiving the signal. The buffer is a SN74AVC2T245. The voltage rail that is used by the input pin is called VAR. This voltage is set by regulator U32. By default, this is set to 1.8V. If your signal does not meet this, you will have to convert it.

As long as i set the trigger signal voltage match the buffer input ?Does i add the comparator to convert it to the digtal signal?
