DAC80501: No DAC Output but other spi commands work

I've been able to write to the Config register to disable/enable the voltage reference. So I know SPI is working.

On two separate setups, I have not been able to get the output to drive anything. I'm sending 0x08 0x8000 to set the device to midrail. Nothing happens, just 0V output.

I've tried on my application board and the TI EVM board.

Do I need to send another command to enable the output? I've tried using the Lsync feature, but that did not help either.

Can you share one, or both of the following:

How you have configured the EVM
A schematic for your application board

I am using the EVM with JP2 and JP1 in place with a 5V supply.

I'm sorry about this, but it seems to have just started working. I'm not sure what was wrong. I've been working on this since last week and right when I finally reached out for help, it seems to work for whatever reason.

I guess that's just how electronics work....

Anyway thanks for looking into this.
