WEBENCH® Tools/TSW14J56EVM: Use TSW14J56EVM to record 1ms data for EVM analysis

Hi,

I hope to use TSW14J56EVM revE and ADC32RF42EVM to record 1ms data continuously (IQ data) for EVM analysis, but there is only one capature button from TSW14J56 interface and only can capture instant data (.bin file). How can I do to record continuously IQ data for EVM analysis? thank you for your help.

Neo,

The TSW14J56EVM can do a total of 2G 16 bit samples. With the ADC32RF42, this would be 1G samples per channel. Once you click capture in the GUI, the number of samples specified in the data capture option (see section 3.1.3.1 of the HSDC Pro software User's Guide) will be captured. The amount of time this is depends on your ADC sample rate.

Can ADC32RF42 out data rate be changed? I only see fix value (1536, 1474.56, 1228.8Msps) in Quick Setup with LMX2582 and LMK04828.

I hope change data rate to 1GHz (and duration 1ms) for EVM caculation.

Hi Neo,

Using the onboard clocking, only the fixed rates shown in the GUI are possible. If you want to operate at a custom rate, you need to use external clocking mode

and provide an external clock (of 1GHz in your case).
