ADS8353: SUPPORT SOFTWARE ADSxx53EVM-PDK

Part Number: ADS8353

Hello,

We purchase two  ADSxx53EVM-PDK and after installation of the application software,  the application hangs with the message "Loading Application" . My computer runs windows 10 Pro edition.

I need to be able to run the SW to take some measurements to evaluate the part for our designs that will use ADS8353 device.

    Hello Again,

    As I mentioned before, When I try to run the "setup.exe" the following shows on the display and does not complete the setup. I actually have the directory but it only has the -English.rtf, but it does not complete the setup.

    Hi Ali,

    I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the software installation for the ADS8353.  Please refer to section 5.2.X and section 6 in the ADSxx53EVM-PDK Users Guide and let us know which version of hardware it is that you have.  Let us know at which step you get the error.

    Hi Tom,

    I was able to install (not sure if it is missing anything) the software, but when I try to run the application it "hangs" and the application main page is always off the screen and can not move it in! Attached is a screen shot. As I mentioned my operating system is running "Wndows 10Pro". My EVM Hardware for the data converter shows EVM Rev C and the controller (USB capture card) shows Rev C1.

    Thanks for the help. I am really stuck and can not perform any testing.

    Hi Ali,

    Unfortunately the screen shot did not come through.  Can you try sending that again?  Hate to ask, but if you change your screen resolution, are you able to get the GUI on-screen?

    Hi Ali,

    In recent times, a lot of companies have been blocking access to the Master Storage Class on USB, to prevent viruses and malware.  Do you have such restrictions in place?
