Hi everyone,

I want to know the conversion formula for parallel CMOS mode 2Vpp in 2s compliment. Especially, value for 0V, -1V, 1V. I am assuming here the diff voltage calculated is VINP-VINM and hence, null, positive & negative values. Please assist

Pawan,

With 14 bits and 2V swing, 1 LSB is 0.12207mV. With 1V input, the 2's comp output is 8191. With -1V the output is -8192. With 0V it is 0.

Not sure if this is what you are asking for.

Jim,

I was confused, if 0V is the midscale - 0x2000 or 0x0 or both ?

Pawan,

0V is mid-scale. In two's comp this is 0x00.
