ADS1205: Single ended or differential

Dear Team,

Here is Kevin from Delta Taiwan

Can I connect the channel A as single-ended and channel B as differential?

Or both channels need to be the same configuration?

Besides, what is the up to date device to replace ADS1205?

    Hi Kevin,

    The ADS1205 has differential inputs, so you can't really get away from that.  You could hold VINn at a 2.5V reference level and put a single ended (+/-2.0V @ 2.5Vcm) signal to VINp.  Either way, the two inputs can be configured differently.  There is no new or updated device with the same features as the ADS1205.
