TX7332: Inquiry about TX7332 DSEL

this is my customer's inquiry.

The datasheet states that the current varies with the DSEL.
We could expect the waveform to change from square wave to sin wave by changing DSEL from 00 to 11.

However, looking at the actual waveform, DSEL seems to have changed 01 and 10.

Hi,

In the above four waveform i can see the difference in rise time. Can you measure the rise time using oscilloscope from -80% to 80% of peak i.e. time taken by output to go from -48V to 48V. By looking at variation in rise time we will be able to see if current drive is changing or not. Also let me know which plot corresponds to which DSEL setting?

Hi,

Please look at the datasheet,

its Maximum output current: 1.2 A to 0.3 A,

also please look at DSEL setting from '00' to '11'.

Hi,

since TX7332 device specs as follows:

– Maximum output current: 1.2 A to 0.3 A

– Maximum clamp current: 0.5 A to 0.12 A

Therefore could you please set both conditions to be max value?

Hi chen.

Is it your best guide to see the datasheet?

It is not possible to confirm that the DSEL is wrong due to rapid current change.

Looking at the waveform, it seems that DSEL 01 and DSEL 10 have changed.

I am asking for errors in the datasheet. Is it the right guide to look at the datasheet?
