hi.

we want to connect an AFE5081EVM to TSW1400EVM.

1. are they pin compatible or required further adaptor to connect both.

2. We require to record the samples of the AFE5801EVM while having an additional digital signal as a parameter (this is an external signal which will be used later to indicate an event).. we were hoping that it possible to use one of the 3 GPIOs introduced in the eval board of the TSW1400.

3. what is the data output structure of the TSW1400EVM when used with the HSDC pro

    Hi,

    Please read from the AFE5801EVM User's Guide (Page 33).

    for your question 1,

    Then you can see clearly how to use Adapter (attached when you ordered EVM)

    to connect both AFE5801EVM and TSW1400
    EVM.

    For your question 2,

    Please also look at the AFE5801EVM User's Guide on page 19: Figure 17. Schematic Page 4

    then you can see not all the pins on the Adapter board are used for connecting to TSW1400EVM.

    If you want to use more pins from TSW1400EVM,

    then you need to wire them from your side.
