DAC8571: Capacitive load stability

Guru 29690 points
Part Number: DAC8571

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows the following about OUTPUT CHARACTERISTICS.

Does it mean we should put 1000pF when RL=2kΩ?
Or does it mean maximum capacitance to set stable?

I would like to ask about a value of feedback resister in this condition.

Best Regards,
Yaita

  • Hi,

DAC8571 output stage is capable of driving loads of up to 1000 pF. Within the offset and gain error margins, the DAC8571 can operate rail-to-rail when driving a capacitive load of 1000pF with 2K load. If you want to drive less than 2K load, you may get gain and offset error. No issues with stability.

are you talking about the VSESNE connection? It should be connected to Out pin. No feedback resistor is required.

    Hope this clarifies.

    Regards,
