What happens with the JESD interface when the device is placed in fast-power-down?
Is drive strength the same, is it completely shut down or is there something else that is different than in normal operating mode?
Kind Regards,
Ed

Hello Ed,
We would like to take this discussion offline since the device AFE58JD18 is under NDA.
Can you send your questions to ultrasound_rx-support@list.ti.com along with a reference to this E2E post?
Hi,
Thank you for using AFE58JD18 device.
Please refer to the datasheet on both Table 29 and Table 30,
when you setup PDN_FAST this pin,
All Channels are selected.
that means " All = all channels are powered down"
therefore all the output signals won't be working at all.
Thank you!
Hi,
More engineer explained more for you detail information is:
===============
The JESD link is live in the partial power down mode.
===============
Because when you choose PDN_FAST,
the PLL and (digital including JESD) channel outputs are still ON.
But when you choose GLOBAL_PDN,
the PLL and (digital including JESD) channel outputs are all OFF.
Thank you!
