DAC7760: Schematic Review

Hi,

DAC schematics looks fine to me, If you are not using Iout, please leave the pin unconnected.

If you want you can add back to back diode protection and TVS diodes shown in EMC user's guide below.

Thanks for your quick response.

1. In one of the threads for DAC7760, Dale Li has suggested connecting the IOUT pin to the ground instead of keeping it floating. So, I have connected it to the ground, is this the right way?

2. I have added TVS diode protection & Ferrite Bead at the VOUT side can u please check it and tell me are those values correct for the circuit.

Hi,

As a general recommendation for any device, if its output, you can leave it open, if unused. For DAC7760, recommendation is to leave open.

Moreover these devices include a power-on-reset function to ensure powering up in a known state (both IOUT and VOUT are disabled and in a Hi-Z state.

TVS didoes and protection scheme looks fine to me.
