ADS1292RECG-FE: don't refresh registers after installationinstallation

Windows 10/x64. I installed SW for ADS1292RECG-FE (CD REV-4) from ADS1x92xEVM-SW-installer.exe (downloaded 01.10.2020)/ After successfull installation both NI and TI (and Vvisual C++) , rebooting PC and attaching hardware I start ADS1x9xEVM. I set Global Channel Registers, LOFF and RLD, GPIO as described in "ADS1x9xECG-FE Demonstration Kit Users Guide. Ch,4". But when I try Register Map I see empty all values. Even I refresh Regiter map - All Values are empty/ How can I resolve this situation or what did I do wrong?

Hi Vladimir,

Can you please check to see if the Device Manager screen on your PC shows the HW is recognized as a Virtual COM port? Please refer to Figure 18 (page 16) for what you should see when you connect the HW to the PC. If possible, can you please provide a screenshot of the Register map?

Sorry for delay/ I was busy in Umiversity this week/

Regarding your request^ I try to do it on several PC (two laptops) and the rersult was the same: when I insert USD cable of ADS into USB port of PC PS translate specific sound but the prompt for USB driver doesn/t appear on th e screen and I cannot execute step-by-step driver installation (as described p.p/ 12-16).

It seems like I cannot install driver for ADS.

If I right understood, my case regards from right USB driver (?)

Because I cannot follow driver installation process described in User's Guide (during pligin ADS in USB port I don't see message from Windows about new USB device and pronpt to install it) I install USB driver MSP430-CDC.inf with help of Windows standard driver installation.

For that I start Device Manager, select serial device "USB(COM4)" and start driver installation for it.

I use local driver storage for "Texas Instruments" devices, point path to MSP430-CDC.inf in C:/Program Files (x86)/TexasADS Instruments/ADS1x9xevm/USB Drivers.

Windows reconizes it as ADS1x9x - ECG Recorder but get the warnings that this driver ("MSP430-CDC.inf") doesn't have certificate.

Due to only warning I start Installation.

I cannot complete installation successfully because my driver does not contain signature information (I think). ???

Below You can see (from the end to the begin) three screenshoots of my attempt
