ADC3444EVM: Will this work with Xilinx spartian-7 FPGA

Part Number: ADC3444EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: FMC-ADC-ADAPTER, ADC3444,

Hello Team,

Good day.

My Customer is developing a project with the ADC3444 using the eval board (ADC3444EVM). They would like to connect that to the Xilinx spartian-7 FPGA, which has an FMC connector in the low pin count. The ACD3444EVM has a proprietary TI connector on it, they found an adapter FMC-ADC-ADAPTER and want to make sure that the adapter works and will connect.

For reference, this is the FPGA they want to use www.digikey.com/.../10445657

The connector is not TI proprietary; it is an HMC connector.  The adapter card will interface the EVM to the FMC connector of the Xilinx board.  I have confidence that the connection will work and that most of the pints will port to the proper place.  I am not 100% sure it will work without any modifications.  I am not directly familiar with the Spartan dev kit so I am not sure of its configuration.  You can check the design package for the details of the EVM configuration and the adapter board to ensure all of the signals needed by the FPGA are presented in the proper place.
