AFE5818EVM: TSW1400EVM and AFE5818EVM ini file

Hi, I am using TSW1400EVM and AFE5818EVM for data collection, but I need to add custom functions to the data collection. I already understand the firmware data collection process and need to modify the ini file.  There are several key parameters I don't understand, as shown in the figure below.
In the data channel selection, why the starting value of Channel Mapping Indexes is 16? Why is the step value 6 instead of 4? I don't really understand how this value is determined. Can you explain the meaning of this parameter ?

    these are related to the FPGA settings on the TSW card. you don't need adjust them. these are linked to the physcial FPGA pin assignment 

    we do not recommend you change the INI files and it will impact the capture. the software is developed by a 3rd party. support on the sofware on customization is not feasible.
