Hi sir,

A customer is interesting in ADS8686SEVM-PDK, want to purchase it.

His application is to fetch output of 12 coils (i.e. differential output) and save the analog input on the computer for further processing.

Would he be able to fetch the inputs from all of the channels in AD8686S and capture them all in csv or some other data format using the GUI provided with board?

    Hi Frank,

    Yes, the GUI can provide a data file after capture. There is one thing I would like to emphasize to you, ADS8686S can only support single-ended input signal, however there are some solution to capture differential input signal with ADS8686S:

    • Add front-end amplifier or instrument amplifier for differential to single-ended signal conversion.
    • Capture 8 signals with one ADS8686S.
    • Or let me know the signal's voltage range/frequency and the expected sampling rate, I may recommend other ADC for you.
