Hello,

The EVM and Wavevision 5 have been working successfully on my Windows 7 laptop for many years.

I have just downloaded and installed the latest version of Wavevision onto a Windows 10 laptop and the software is not recognising the hardware.

Please advise.

Hi Rob,

Hope you are well.

I followed the procedure and the Windows 10 laptop found the driver, however, the installation did not like the driver and failed to install it.

Did you also follow the drive disable procedure as well in that same E2E thread?

Good Morning Rob,

I disabled the driver signature enforcement in Windows 10 using the following command: bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on

After re-booting the laptop and plugging in the USB cable to the EVM hardware, I checked the Device Manager and noticed an unidentified device had been detected. I them manually updated the driver by pointing to the driver folder and the PC attempted to install the driver, but complained that it didn't like it.

Please follow the instructions on these two documents. See attached. It should work, this has been proven many times to work for many other customers and ourselves! :).
